ABOUT ME

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Geographical and Sustainability Sciences at the University of Iowa. My research focuses on:

  • Ecosystem responses to climate variability and change, especially in dry regions

  • Past and present hydroclimatic variability

  • Land use and land cover change

​​

Aside from research, I enjoy disc golf, swimming, science fiction/fantasy literature, heavy metal and post-rock music, hiking, and baseball.
